PAST EVENTS

Oct 26-28, 2007 - Deke rocked the Holy Name of Jesus' Annual Beachside Festival this year with help from his friends from local rock band Evongale. Deke later went over and recorded some quick studio takes of seven fave Browne songs with Evongale - soon to be released.

Aug 25, 2006 - The new album, A Harder Year, has been released online for everyone's listening pleasure. This album will be available for purchase as a CD shortly.

Jul 13, 2006 - The recording of Dietrich's third album began. Two grueling long nights in the studio of Paul Miller for the recording of "A Harder Year".

Mar 26, 2006 - Dietrich entertained the massive crowds at the 35th Annual Beachside Festival at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL. The show started at 4:00pm and was rumored to be located in the coveted area between the pig wrestling booth and the bearded lady expo.

Mar 18, 2006 - Deke Brown Fireside Freedom Concert at the Matt Carroll Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration.

Report: The rousing success of Dietrich's singing and guitar playing had many in the crowd crying "encore, encore". It turned out to be wayward children who were out past their bedtime, but it was enough to spur the revolutionary guitar folk hero onto several Irish hymns, toasts, and a nearly perfect-pitch rendition of Freebird. The night ended gracefully when everybody left and Dietrich was still playing showtunes from Cats.
